Honestly!

I am one of those strange people who actually enjoys cloth diapering most days (more on that for a later post).  But there are times when I just need to be able to use disposable diapers.  Let's face it, asking your extended family for the use of their washing machine to clean your child's dirty diapers is probably not on the top of the list of things you want to do while your visiting.

With now near four years of diapering little people under our belt we've used A LOT of diapers, cloth and paper.  I think we've almost tried them all.  Both our children broke out in rashes with Huggies, and while they seemed to be able to tolerate Pampers alright, the way that the diapers stuck to their bottoms when it was hot, and the fresh powdery smell that they exude is just a little bit disturbing to me. Target diaper seemed to work OK, but the more I read about all of the chemicals that most diapers have in them, and the more little gel pebble I found when changing my son, the more I was swayed to stick with the natural diapers.  We tried a lot of those too, with varying success.  Eventually we landed with Seventh Generation, and I would still happily use them.  They are fairly soft, hold a lot, and keep babies bottom dry!  What more could you ask?

Well... with our second child, I ran across a company called Honest.  Super cute natural diaper shipped to my doorstep when I need them!  We tried them, and I am in love!  They don't keep baby quite as dry as Seventh Generation, but they do about as good a job as any cloth diaper, and the company is just plain amazing!  They let me mix and match the quantities and sizes of diapers - I just placed an order for 3 sleeves of size 3s and 1 sleeve of size4s for my daughter, and two sleeves of training pants for my son.  All in the same box! All here by the end of the week!  Every time I call the sales reps are so friendly and helpful, and the products are just wonderful!

I am totally sold, and very, very content!

Thanks Honest!
